BRIEF HISTORY OF AUSTRALIAN CRICKET TEAM

Australian cricket team is one of the top most hit team and has great players in form . Australian cricket team has great fan-following .This team represents nation of Australia in world of cricket . It is the team which is the oldest team who played cricket .You can say that it is the pioneer of cricket with England.

The first test match played between England and Australia was played in 1877 . Australian Cricket team also plays ODIs matches and twenty-twenty internationals . 

This team has not only played first test match in history of cricket but it also plays first ODI match in history against England in SEASON1970-1971 and also played first t-20 international match against New Zealand in SEASON 2004-2005 .  First test match was won by Australia . They defeat England by 45 runs .Then the series started between England and Australia in 1882 , which was named as ashes .

Now even today people watch the ashes series with keen and great interest.Cricket between two old countries could not continue for long time continuously as they were very far from each other and travelling by sea took months to reach at destination . Australia was , as compared to their small population , producing talented and smart players who lightened up their country in the world at that time .
