BRIEF HISTORY OF ENGLAND CRICKET TEAM
In this post , we will tell you about history of cricket team of England which is the the oldest team in the world of cricket . The team of England represents three countries of United Kingdom which includes England , Wales and Scotland . First , it only represented England and Wales but since 1992 , it also represented Scotland . From 1st day of 1997 , International team of cricket of England is governed by England and Wales cricket board. which is known as ECB . England and Australia are the oldest teams of international cricket . England played its first test match , one day international match and twenty twenty international match in 1877 , 1971 and in 2005 respectively . And surprisingly these all three first matches of all formats of international cricket were played by England against Australia . England and Australia joined hands with South Africa to form Imperial Cricket Conference which later on formed International Cricket Council . Today"s ICC . The first team of England was formed on 9 july 1739 . When they played against County team of Kent . In the team of England , players were picked from all over the England . Then England played its matches with different teams of the world . Firstly , they had tour of Northern America . Then after war and disputes , England and North America connection was over for cricket . Then some tourists visited Australia and their tours were very successful providing connections between Australian and England cricket teams . After it , first test was played between Australia and England , which was first international test match of history after it ,many teams arose and cricket became popular game at the end of twentieth century . England has produced outstanding team of world .It won T 20 world cup and is best team in all international formats of cricket .
