BRIEF HISTORY OF INDIAN CRICKET TEAM

India is one of the oldest place where different people of different religions , different tribes ruled there for different time in history.No doubt subcontinent is the place of great people.Today"s India got independence on 15th August 1947.But the great game of cricket was played in India before independence when there was British rule.Many of the indian citizens played in British team and performed very well which includes Kumarshri Ranjitsnhji and KS duleepsinhji.

India played its first international test match in England against England and lost that 3-day test match.Then , it played its first test series after independence in 1948 in Brisbane against Australia. The series was comprised of five test matches and Australia won the series by 4-0 .

 Then the time came when India got its first international test victory against England in 1952 at Madras.Then India won its first series against Pakistan in the same year , 1954 and after it India continuously worked hard and now Indian cricket team is one of the prominent cricket team in the world of cricket.In next post , we will discuss the successes of India increasing time by time and its present condition.
